Research
Every child and family brings unique strengths, needs, and experiences. By listening closely, learning from the individuals we serve, and asking meaningful research questions, we work to improve care today while building better possibilities for the future.
Our research program brings together scientists, clinicians, students, community partners, and individuals with lived experience to improve the lives of people with autism and other developmental disabilities. We conduct applied and translational research focused on understanding individual needs, developing and evaluating innovative interventions, and improving how services are delivered in everyday settings. By connecting scientific discovery with clinical practice and community priorities, our researchers work to create more effective, personalized, and accessible approaches to assessment, treatment, technology, and support across the lifespan.
Families can play an essential role in shaping the future of care. By participating in one of our research studies, you can help us better understand children’s needs, improve services, and develop more effective support for children and families.
